Carpathian Jerky – 2 Years in Motion Challenge
Organized through the Challenges by SportIn app
1. Organizer
The “Carpathian Jerky – 2 Years in Motion Challenge” competition is organized by Carpathian Jerky, in partnership with SportIn, through the digital application Challenges by SportIn, hereinafter referred to as the “Platform”.
The Organizer reserves the right to modify these regulations during the course of the challenge, whenever necessary for the proper conduct of the competition.
2. Purpose of the competition
The purpose of this challenge is to encourage daily movement and an active lifestyle, using steps automatically recorded by participants’ personal devices and transformed into competitive rankings and measurable objectives.
3. Duration and scope
The challenge takes place exclusively online, through the Platform, for the period established and officially communicated in the application. Rankings are automatically generated based on validated steps recorded during this period.
4. Eligibility and participation
All users may participate who:
• have an active account in the Challenges by SportIn app;
• have correctly connected a step-tracking device;
• comply with the terms and conditions of this competition.
Participation is voluntary. By registering, the participant declares that they have read and fully accepted these regulations.
5. Competition mechanism
Steps are collected automatically from participants’ connected devices and centralized within the Platform. Based on performance, users are ranked in the following leaderboards:
• Winners Leaderboard
• Target Leaderboard
• Top 10 Final Leaderboard
Leaderboards are updated automatically, based on SportIn algorithms.
6. Competition prizes
Top 3 – Winners Leaderboard
• 1st place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 500 lei voucher
• 2nd place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 400 lei voucher
• 3rd place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 300 lei voucher
Top 3 – Target Leaderboard
• 1st place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 500 lei voucher
• 2nd place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 400 lei voucher
• 3rd place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 300 lei voucher
Top 10 – Final Leaderboard
• 1st place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 500 lei voucher
• 2nd place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 400 lei voucher
• 3rd place: 1x backpack, 1x hoodie, 1x 300 lei voucher
• 4th place: 1x hoodie, 1x 200 lei voucher
• 5th place: 1x hoodie, 1x 150 lei voucher
• 6th place: 1x hoodie, 1x 100 lei voucher
• 7th place: 1x hoodie, 1x 100 lei voucher
• 8th place: 1x hoodie, 1x 100 lei voucher
• 9th place: 1x hoodie, 1x 100 lei voucher
Prizes cannot be converted into cash and are non-transferable.
7. Fair play and fraud prevention
SportIn uses automated systems and pattern checks to detect unusual behavior or attempts at fraud, including but not limited to:
• artificial manipulation of step counts;
• improper use of devices;
• activities incompatible with realistic human behavior.
8. Disqualifications
The Organizer and SportIn reserve the absolute right to:
• disqualify any participant suspected of cheating;
• remove a participant from the leaderboards, temporarily or permanently;
• withdraw the right to receive prizes.
Disqualification may occur without the obligation to provide a detailed explanation to the participant.
In confirmed cases of cheating, the Organizer reserves the right to issue a public communication (within the app or related competition channels) regarding the participant’s disqualification and the general reason for it (e.g. “cheating”, “non-compliant behavior”).
9. Liability
The Organizer is not responsible for:
• data synchronization errors caused by participants’ devices;
• technical interruptions independent of the Platform;
• improper use of the application by users.
10. Data protection
Data collected through the Platform is used exclusively for running the competition, generating leaderboards, and awarding prizes, in accordance with SportIn’s privacy policies and applicable legislation.
11. Final provisions
By participating in this challenge, users confirm that they have read, understood, and fully accepted these regulations. The Organizer has the final right of interpretation of these rules.
